Banh Mi Huong Que

Amazing Vietnamese food... I came early in the morning and Anthony (the chef was so very attentive for me to understand their entries! I explained I’m Mexican and love spicy food and here I am. Also “Sun” with a very smile eyes and motherly way, packed all my food and gave me extra Vietnamese rolls, asking me to bring home for later. Oh my God, these two humans filled my hungry eyes but most important, they gave me love and fed my soul. In life, you get to have the opportunity of Choice and I want to get the choice that stays for ever as treating others exactly how I’d love to be treated. This unassuming little place surprised us big timed because they are serving THE BEST Banh Mi we’ve ever had! The meat and pate is flavorful, perfectly crunchy and sweet carrot, on top of the flakiest bread, just heavenly. We will absolutely 1000% come back every time we visit Boston in the future!

Best value banh mi. The bread: chewy inside crispy outside. Very flaky exterior! Tastes almost freshly made. Filling: I got the chicken filling. Great portion, juicy and well seasoned. Perfect ratio of cilantro, jalapeno, pate, pickled radishes, and mayo Spring roll: I’ve never had a more fresh spring roll at a Vietnamese restaurant. The rice roll was super soft and chewy and the shrimp tasted very fresh. Very good and refreshing! Overall, a solid banh mi. For 7.50 it’s a great and fair price compared to anywhere else around Boston.

I get a banh mi with lemongrass beef like at least monthly from here because it’s on my walk home and you can order online and they’re quick. They are also so good! Sometimes I also get the cabbage salad for lunch the next day and I love that too. The Thai iced tea and Vietnamese iced coffee have always been good for me too. I should probably branch out more, but I’m always happy with my regular order here!

Their bahn mi sandwiches are amazing and highly recommended...! Re spring roll order - it came with x3 spring rolls as opposed to only 2.. and their iced coffees were also tasty!

Bro I have no idea what I just ate, but it was gas lol. You people love to hate. First off, you could tell the owner cared, he was at the register asking customers if they had any questions and was helping serve sit down guests. secondly, that bahn MI was amazing. Never had one in my life so didn't know what to expect, and I'm also the type of person to not leave their comfort zone, but I'm glad I did. That 5 spice chicken banh mi was primo. Could taste the freshness. I definitely will be back. Wanted the pork but the lemongrass threw me off . No idea what it was as I'm fairly new to Vietnamese food, but I'll definitely be trying it next time. Don't believe these bad reviews. Hell, don't even believe the good ones. Experience for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
